Approaching the beginning of the forthcoming season, SRSLY. announces its new residency every Friday night at Astoria, a new club located in SanSalvario, the leading cultural and creative area of Turin.
On Friday 20th January, Astoria’s basement shakes again spurred by the powerful sound of BLAWAN. His unique way of blending together techno, UK garage, dubstep and American R&B, turned him to be one of the most highly-rated artists in the United Kingdom. He released records on Hessle Audio, R&S, Clone and he recently remixed Radiohead, but when the sun goes down he leaves his studio and the producer , turning into a real pirate of the dancefloor.

SRSLY. welcomes one of the most visionary musicians of the last twenty years: LUKE VIBERT ! Together with his friends and colleagues Aphex Twin and Squarepusher, Vibert has written some of the most important pages in the history of electronic music, publishing records for the best labels of the planet, among which Warp, Rephlex and Planet Mu. Volcanic and unpredictable in the live performances, his show in Turin represents an unmissable date for every Italian follower of the electronic sounds.

Simone Vallecorsa alias Aeph è stato introdotto per Drum and Bass quando era un adolescente a Roma. Ormai da dieci anni Aeph vive e lavora fuori Londra e ha pubblicato moltissimi dischi sulle etichette DnB più all’avanguardia.

Ben UFO is the manager and co-founder of the London-based label Hessle Audio. Nonetheless, he is one of the few DJs in the UK that made a name for himself solely as a DJ, without having entered the world of production. Paul Woolford recently defined him as the British Ron Hardy. His top-notch DJ sets combine the freshest funky, garage, and 2-step sounds with a choice selection of classic dubstep, house, and techno.

After a private party on 11.11.11 with Oneman at his national debut, the Italian clubnight SRSLY. is ready to start the upcoming season at Astoria, the new club of Turin, announcing the first series of guest artists and billing every Friday some of the most cutting-edge electronic acts in the world.

On the occasion of the opening party, on Friday 16th December, SRSLY. hosts the British composer and producer RAFFERTIE. Running the rule over modern dance music, Raffertie keeps altering his position on where we should see him stand. After being proclaimed the ‘King of Wobble’ he deftly dodged left to deploy a FACT mix that screamed his sophistication and revelry in detail. Expect to be floored by a panoramic vision of UK Bass. His home of Ninja Tune perfectly sums up how dexterous his sound can be, so keep an eye on his moves, he’s a classic Clash Ones to Watch.
